Официальный у меня есть, но чудаки, его составляющие намудрили так, что слушаю я теперь только этот. Lime - группа, которая заняла свою нишу, в которой практически никого больше и нет. Смесь Italo Disco с Techno и New Wave, оригинальный писклявый голос солистки и просто гигантские треки - все это только у Lime. Причем этот коктейль еще и слушается не без удовольствия - эту группу я бы занес в Топ 100 80-х. Хотя явно при создании группы имелся в виду фрукт, но у слова Lime есть еще значение - клей. Думаю, что после этого сборника Вы скачаете хотя бы один номерной альбомчик, или дурацкий официальный топ. Гарантирую. Вдогонку отмечу, что все треки не изменены ни на секунду и ни на ноту, т.е. 100%-ное оригинальное звучание, насколько позволяет цифровая компиляция.   (CDDA (from LP), APE потреково, куй, разложено по 3-4 трека в архиве)   01. But Maze featuring Frankie Beverly was not only hanging in there -- it was still selling a lot of albums. Released in 1989, Silky Soul was yet another big seller for Maze; it was also the band's first Warner Bros. release (after more than a decade at Capitol). On Silky Soul, Beverly favors a more high-tech production style than he had in the past. Maze's founder and lead singer knew that urban radio was very technology-minded, and he makes some urban contemporary moves by using more synthesizers and drum machines. Nonetheless, Silky Soul is state-of-the-art Maze. In fact, Silky Soul is an appropriate title for this CD because tracks like the funky "Love's on the Run" and the melancholy "Can't Get Over You" are essentially soul music -- the production style is more urban contemporary, but Beverly's singing and writing is still that of a soul man whose musical personality was shaped by the classic R&B of the '60s and '70s. Marvin Gaye is still a prominent influence, and Beverly pays tribute to the late soul singer on the hit title song. Silky Soul's title track is simply brilliant -- parts of the tune allude to Gaye's "What's Going On," but without obscuring Maze's own distinctive personality. Another great track is "Mandela," which calls for the release of South African freedom fighter Nelson Mandela. In 1989, Mandela was still confined to a South African prison, but after the racist apartheid system was ended, he became South Africa's president. (Jim McCarty). К сожалению Кейт Рельф покинул группу в 1971 году (Jim McCarty её покинул в 1970), а в 1975 году, уже в Америке создал великолепную Hard-Rock группу Armageddon. Записав с ними один альбом с одноимённым названием "Armageddon", Кейт Рельф трагически погиб. На сколько я знаю, решил поупражняться у себя дома в игре на гитаре, и его ударило током. Так вот, первые два альбома, те что с Кейтом Рельфом - мои любимые альбомы Renaisssance. Симфо-Рок, живая музыка. It contains a wide variety of the different styles of electronica, from rock n' roll influenced to the hip hop influenced.   The first song "Rock The Funky Beat," by Natural Born Chillers, is a good opening track. It is high energy (as is most urban music) and gets you into mood right away; it makes you want to hear more.  It has more of a hip-hop feel to it. The second track, "Treat Infamy," by Rest Assured, is a different style.  It is more of techno/house track.  About a minute into the song, it switches feel.  It slows down and uses a familiar sample, one from the Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony."  Then it switches back to the techno style again. DJ Hype then remixes Prodigy's"Smack My Bitch Up."  As his name would imply, the song is given more energy. It has a drum n' bass feel now and is a bit faster.In the fifth track, electronica meets rap when Prodigy remixes Method Man's "Release Yo' Delf."   This is a good demonstration of Prodigy's talent, since they remixed it keeping the hip-hop element.   While Fatboy Slim has their own rock n' roll dance track on the album ("Going Out Of My Mind"), they also remix "Renegade Master" by Wildchild.  This song is a dance/hip-hop track, complete with "Go, go,go, go...." being chanted in the background on the upbeat.   Hive brings yet another style of urban music with their track "Ultrasonic Sound."  This track uses a heavy metal riff laced with drum n'' bass drums.  The result is a hard edged, high energy song.   These tracks are only a sampling of all the goodies that can be found on this album.
