In compliance with ICANN new /Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy/, http://www.icann.org/transfers/, OnlineNIC will update the current Registrar Transfer process to comply with the new standards and the new transfer process is going to take effect on November 12th, 2004.
The significant changes on processes are:
1.The Registrar Transfer Confirmation Email sent to administrative contact will be updated according to the Standardized Form of Authorization (FOA) drafted by ICANN;
2.For EPP domain transfers, e.g. .org/.info/.biz/.us/.cn etc., the Confirmation Email will still be sent to administrative contact even though 'AuthInfo' is provided. In other words, if the administrative contact does not respond to the Confirmation Email, the transfer will be cancelled.
3.For transfer-out request, the domain name will AUTO transfer out from OnlineNIC, Inc. to the New Registrar in the event that the administrative contact does not respond to the transfer out Confirmation Email from OnlineNIC to cancel the transfer within 3 calendar days.
4.All the correspondence pertaining transfer into OnlineNIC, Inc. will be sent from email: transfer@onlinenic.com; while transfer-out@onlinenic.com for transfer out of OnlineNIC;
5.The time limit for administrative contact to respond to our transfer in Confirmation Email to confirm the transfer will be shortened from 10 calendar days to 5 calendar days;
