Следя за темой, я вспомнил, что тут как-то просили найти плагин для безсерверного чата... Не помню, нашли уже такое сокровище или нет, но есть такой плагин: VyChat 0.1.2.0. Его суть заключается в: A serverless protocol that allows you to chat with other people on your LAN, compatible with Vypress Chat. Check the readme for details. Так что, кому это было интересно - поюзайте и расскажите народу, как ОНО работает... лично мне это тоже интересно, только вотсетки нет

This is the first public release so you should use it at your own risk! It
is a good ideea to backup your database before using this plugin for the first
time (or any other plugin). It was tested on my small network, but shit can
always happen. The original VyPress Chat icons can be found in
VyChatIcons.dll.

When you load the plugin for the first time, you will be asked to fill in
the options dialog. This is the same dialog that you'll find under
Options->Network->VyChat. Most of the options are self-explanatory like
nickname, away and dnd messages, etc. If you only want to broadcast the
packets to a subnet, change the broadcast address field accordingly, but I
think most users will leave this to 255.255.255.255. 'VyChat group name' is
the name of the group that will be created in Miranda's list and will contain
all VyChat contacts (channels and users). New contacts will be added only to
the group with this name, so do not rename it from the list as it will be
created again! The alert sound can be configured in Options->Events->Sounds->
VyChat:Beep. You can also specify an interval when the status of the VyChat
contacts will be refreshed.
Every time you go online, you join the '#Main' channel. Everything you say
in this channel is broadcasted to everyone on the network. If you join another
channel (from Miranda's menu, VyChat: Join channel), everything you write in
this channel will be seen only by users that have also joined it. To see who
is on a channel, right-click on it in the list, select User Details and click
on the VyChat tab. Messages sent to users are transmited directly to their IP
address, unlike those sent to channels. To see some details on a user, right-
click it, select User Details and click the VyChat tab. You can also send an
alert(beep) by chosing 'Send alert' from the right-click menu. Vypress Chat
'messages' can be sent by typing '/msg <message here>' in the users' message
window.
