Можно обновить npcap: в комплект 4.0.17 входит инсталлятор npcap-1.71.exe, но можно извлечь более новый npcap-1.79.exe из свежего комплекта Wireshark-4.4.7-x64.exe (2025-06-04) и установить его, предварительно деинсталлировав npcap 1.71.
В Win7 x64 у меня работает Wireshark 4.0.17 + npcap 1.79:
