Reaper позволяет записывать, редактировать и воспроизводить аудиофайлы. Поддерживается воспроизведение и запись с ASIO, Kernel Streaming, WaveOut и DirectSound, чтение форматов WAV, OGG, MP3 и MIDI, запись WAV и MIDI. Имеется возможность индивидуальной обработки каждого трека по отдельности.
Поддерживаются плагины; интерфейс можно поменять сменой скина.
