Hello All,
Sorry about keeping you uninformed - I've been busy with doing
changes in the core code and only now I see some light at the end of
the tunnel :-)
Currently, I am working on templates (they are completely
rewritten). I want to hear your opinion about the %IF macro -
specifically, is it a good idea to compare strings as numbers if
both operands are valid numbers or should be another macro be
implemented for this?
As for the oncoming Beta, here is a short list of visible changes:
Already implemented:
- built-in PGP v5-8 support (i.e. without additional DLLs)
- support for PGP/MIME
- possibility to view attached messages on the preview pane
- possibility to add custom headers to the message header pane and
to the messages
- possibility to choose the layout of attachments in the preview
pane
To-Do list:
(things beside obvious ones to put the new Beta out - like finish
with changes and assemble programs from bits into something
integral and fix some top-priority bugs :-)
- additional menu commands for Anti-Spam plug-in interface like
"Submit messages as good ones" and "Submit messages as SPAM"
(well, I don't like these wordings so I welcome any altenative
suggesitons)
- plug-in interface for "external" template macros
As soon as I finish with this, the new Beta will be out and you'll
have to watch out :-)
As always, any comments are welcome :-)
P.S. I finally won the struggle with Windows XP and it is now running
on one of my machines (I discovered that Microsoft is giving away
broken copies of XP for MSDN subscribers and it was with both original
XP release and XP+SP1), so I'll be trying to trace down the visual
problems you're experiencing... :-)
