InnoExtractor 2025 v10.0.0.112 changelog (February 02, 2025):

- Completed migration of InnoExtractor project from very old development technology tool to modern development technology tool. This has been done to improve application for Windows 10/11 and to begin research how to implement and incorporate in future versions of InnoExtractor the high-DPI capabilities of modern monitors (currently and unfortunately, InnoExtractor looks blurry on these types of monitors).
- Added full support for Inno Setup 6.4.0.
- Added new functionality and behavior to Open button:
* Left-click: Show Installers History menu
* Middle-click: Open Single Installer dialog
* Right-click: Open Research Installers window
- Added new functionality and behavior to Script button:
* Left-click: Show Script Tools menu
* Middle-click: Open Script file of installer immediately
- Added Azerbaijani interface language.
- Added new word highlighting for [Setup] section in InnoExtractor Text Viewer: EncryptionKeyDerivation.
- Added file extraction support for new LZMA SDK compression.
- Updated Innounp Unicode Console to version 2.64.1.
- Improved runtime support for Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11.
- Improved some minor cosmetic issues for Find box on Windows 11.
- Improved Unicode implementation into the application.
- Improved application installer.
- Updated all language files.
- Removed item "Get More Languages..." from Option menu.
- Removed item "Innounp Version (Unicode)..." from Help menu, due to is not allowed to replace the exe file of Innounp with old or unnoficial builds anymore.
- Dropped support for Windows 2000. InnoExtractor will no longer run on this operating system anymore. Then, from now InnoExtractor support Windows XP and later.
- Retired support for VirusTotal API on Windows XP due to expired HTTPS root certificates on this operating system. From now, VirusTotal API requires Windows Vista or later (Windows Vista and 7 requires a upgrated root certificate included in the installer).
- Retired compatibility of ANSI console version of Innounp on InnoExtractor. From now, the Unicode console edition of Jürgen Rathlev is the only official console that will be used by the application, so please do not try to replace the innounp external console executable with ANSI or other old, modified, etc. versions, otherwise you may get undesired results. You have been warned!
- Fixed other bugs from previous version. |
