Собственно поставил на дамашнюю машину, диски у меня IDE.

A core dump partition reserves a small amount of disk space for saving the state of your system in the event of a crash or hang. Information saved on the core dump partition can be used to determine the cause of a system fault.
If your system has one or more local SCSI disks, we recommend that you create a local core dump partition. If you cannot create a local core dump partition, then you may use a shared SAN LUN. The LUN may be up to 1600 M in size and should not contain any other partitions.
One 1600 M LUN will service up to sixteen VMware ESX Server systems; if such a LUN does not exist, you should ask your SAN administrator to provision one.
One or more unpartitioned SAN LUNs were found. To create a core dump partition on a shared SAN LUN, click next.

• A local SCSI disk

VMFS будет работать только на скази дисках и SAN -сторджах?
Будет ли работать на Sata винтах?
Можно ли эмулировать SAN хранилище?
