Changes:
- Important pre-release information
- Capture One PRO 3.7.3 RC1 is a pre-release product. Phase One does not provide support on pre-release products. Phase One disclaims any and all liability that use of pre-release products might result in.
- Specifications for and features in the final release of the software and related material (such as the manual) may differ from the pre-release software.
- Support for new cameras
- The PRO version of Capture One will include support for the long awaited, brand new Phase One Digital Backs P 30 and P 45, featuring 31 and 39 mega pixels respectively.
- The PRO version of Capture One will now also support the cameras listed below:
• Canon EOS 5D
• Canon EOS-1D Mark II N
• Konica Minolta Alpha / Dynax / Maxxum 5D
• Olympus E-500 EVOLT
• Leica R9
- Improved image quality
- In certain situations when shooting with a H 25, P 20 or P 25 using ultra wide angle lenses we have experienced that small artifacts can appear in the image. In Capture One 3.7.3 we will introduce a new feature, Pattern Noise Suppression, which makes it possible to remove these artifacts. We have developed a special algorithm to deal with artifacts which are typically seen as small labyrinth patterns in the image. This feature is only available for Phase One H 25 and later digital backs.
- With Capture One 3.7.3 the banding suppression feature will now also support 16 bit TIFF output, so users can now have optimal image quality and take advantage of the banding suppression feature in Capture One.
- All white balances (pre-defined, auto and custom) from Nikon cameras, including D2X, D2Hs and D50 are supported in Capture One.
- New language supported in application
- Traditional Chinese has been added to the Capture One application.
- Updated End User License Agreement (EULA)
- The EULA has been updated and simplified.
Known issues
- ICC profiles for Phase One P 30 and P 45, Canon EOS 5D, Leica Digital Modul R and Olympus E-500 are still subject to change.
- Manual and other documentation are subject to change. |
