Вот то, что было на bestfilez.net: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @philtulju Re. pdf extraction this is part of a post from a newsgroup (credits to Santa). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A CLEAN PDF FONT EXTRACTION PROCEDURE Yes, there are other documented methods, each of which works some of the time. This one appears to work close to 100% of the time! (Some as yet unresolved problems with CID Type 2 fonts) Software Requirements: Altsoft FTMaster _http://www.alt-soft.com/ A font creation and editing program that can extract just about all embedded fonts from pdfs. Unlocker (free) _http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ This is a little utility that can free up a file when you get a message such as "cannot access because this file is use by another application". Knowledge Requirements: You need to know where the default TEMP directory is located. This is usually C:\WINDOWS\TEMP, but may be elsewhere. Unlocker must have been installed, with the Explorer extension enabled. Procedure: Run FTMaster Open one or more fonts from one or more PDFs. NOTE: Some PDF's use a form of password protection to prevent content copying or extraction. PDF's like these need to have their protection removed with a utility such as "PDF Password Remover" from verypdf.com. Removal of this type of password protection is instantaneous, because it involves the resetting of a flag, not finding the password. If the font's embedding flag was "installable", the font can then be saved immediately from within FTMaster. Otherwise, FTMaster will treat it as read only (viewing the font's glyphs and attributes, non-editable and non-copyable), and there are a couple more steps to take. For each font opened, FTMaster will create a file in the TEMP directory with a filename in the form xxxxxxxx.ftn, where the x's represent some random character string. The string will be the same for all files created in the same session; the "n" in ftn will change for each file. This file will be considered to be in use by the application and can't be copied or modified. RIGHT-click on the file(s) in the temp directory and select "unlocker" from the dropdown. Executing it will allow you to make copies of the files. Do so; right-click and drag or however you like to copy files, to wherever you want to put them. Some files can now be immediately renamed with an appropriate name and extension (.otf, .ttf, for example) and you'll have a working font, often with a peculiar font name like XC45GY+ArialBold.ttf. That needs to be edited. Others may have to be reopened in FTMaster, some will open directly in FontLab. To open these unlocked files in FTMaster, go to File / Open, enter C:\Windows\Temp\*.* [or wherever your temp directory is or wherever you've copied the files to] and select the files to open. (Close the originals first). You may get a nasty-looking message when you right-click, because FTMaster expects to be the sole owner of the file and you've unlocked it. Ignore these messages and "continue". FTMaster will have displayed a different icon for each font type it recognized : Truetype .ttf Multiple Master .mmm CFF Multiple Master .cff CFF Type 2 .cff Type 1 .pfb or .pfa OpenType .otf Type42 (?) CID Type 0 (?) CID Type 2 .cff You can then modify and save them as desired. For fonts extracted from PDF's, it is recommended that the font name and file name be modified to indicated that it is an extraction. Adding xPDF or Xpdf to the font or family names appears to have become a fairly standard means of doing so. Modifying the copyright notice is another. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
