    Мне в своё время коллеги в один голос рекомендовали TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5 и в настройках ставить PreGap=8, но у него есть свои особенности, особенно коли в качестве движка выбрать CUDA. Правда на скорость кодирования на рабочей станции с ЦП Opteron 6286 SE и связкой видеоплат Quadro K5000 + Tesla K20 и 64 ГБ ОЗУ  жаловаться явно не приходилось.

    Очень полезный профиль в тех случаях, когда скачанный Rip, Blu-Ray или DVD имеет аудио в формате DTS
    или в любом другом формате, который не поддерживается вашим телевизором, плеером.
    Профиль позволяет без перекодирования видео, перекодировать аудио дорожки на лету в форматы: AC3, AAC, MP3.
    На выходе получается MKV контейнер с исходной видео дорожкой и субтитрами, но с перекодированным аудио.
     
    Фактически это ремукс в MKV с преобразованием аудио дорожки.
    Скорость обработки зависит от быстродействия диска и объёма исходного Rip, Blu-Ray или DVD.
